Hello there,
These are photos that I have collected over several
years of researching Lippitt Morgans. A great majority of these pictures
are scanned from old Lippitt Club Newsletters, Morgan
Horse magazine advertisements and articles, and various other publications.
My hopes are to display the Lippitt as the truly versatile and family horse it is for many of us. As well as help those others who are researching the bloodlines and perhaps preserve a bit of our Lippitt history for all to see.
Originally, I planned this site to contain any photos that I've collected over the years that were sent to me in various emails
either private or through groups & lists or collected from various sites.
After researching copyright issues, I am only displaying
those from groups & lists that I have been given permission to use for this
site. My thoughts are geared to getting the public the ability to see as many
Lippitt Morgans as possible
in a variety of activities.
If you have qualms with any credits or copyrights with any specific photo, please send me a note and I'll pursue the matter from there. Should there be one that catches your eye as something that should not be displayed, please send me a note at
and I will remove it.
If there is a photo of yours that you recognize that is missing its signature or would like credit for it specifically, please let me know and I will correct the situation post haste. If you have multiple photos on the site, please check to see if I've included you in the new credits page. If not, please let me know. For now, I am going to be listing names with a link to a website or e-mail address if I have such information. If you wish credit, but no link, please let me know.
With regards to permission to
use the photos on the site for publication either via print or on the web, I am
not the copyright holder on 99% of these photos. You will need to contact
the owner or photographer to pursue permission to use said photo. In many
cases, I may not have contact information for those photos that were scanned
from various publications. Many of these were sent to me for use.
For the more recent photos of "Living Lippitts", I should be able to point you
in the direction of the individual owner or photographer. I am NOT listing
the owners of the horses on the website as a matter of privacy for those
individuals.
With regards for using these
photos for simulation horse games, or other internet activities of that sort you
are NOT granted permission to use any of these images. Any image found hot
linked will be pursued through any legal resource necessary until the situation
has been resolved and the hot link has been terminated. Please, do not
steal photos & bandwidth. It is illegal and punishable by law.
Thank you,
Sherri Albrecht
